Reproduction of a globe produced in 1745 by French cartographer Robert de Vaugondy. Vaugondy presented this globe, on which the journeys of contemporary explorers are precisely marked, to Louis XV. This globe can thus serve as a symbol for a journey (of discovery) that you wish to present to another person. Instead of an air ticket, travel guide or some other less romantic representation of a generous idea. Dimensions 8.5 x 9 cm (3” x 4” approx.).
