This indestructible flower tub comes from a Hungarian cooper. The wood of the acacia is especially resistant to weathering and is primarily used in shipbuilding apart from in cooperage. The wooden staves are kept out in the open for 18 months and later the inside is scorched so that it is better preserved. The tubs are on feet to allow surplus water to drain. Metal parts galvanised.
