1966 WC Leather Football

The “Wembley Goal” in the 1966 World Cup final between England and Germany remains something of a sore point for German football fans. The classic design of this ball is identical to the ball used in that game. These balls were used until 1970 in League and World Cup football. Sewn from 18 separate pieces of leather, with lacing over the valve.
